Pelargonium Denticulatum Filicifolium
This scented pelargonium is native to the Western Cape and grown in moist mountainous areas. It is an upright shrub with tall woody main stems and soft green branches. Its sticky leaves are dark green, triangular, and fern-like with a balsam scent. Its flowers are purple-pink and have darker blotches on the upper petals.
Pelargonium denticulatum filicifolium is a plant that can grow in a Mediterranean climate with light shade. In cooler climates, it needs summer warmth and good drainage. As winter approaches it will need to be taken indoors. Its feathery foliage can be added to flower bouquets.
